Recycling has become as if it were an infrastructure in our society. Kimono fabrics are one of the materials that people in Japan have treasured and cherished, recycling them from generation to generation. Displayed here are all old fabrics, the oldest date back to the Taisho era (1912-1926).
If you right-click on each piece of fabric and select 'Save Picture as...', you can take the image and use it as wallpaper, wrapping paper, stationery and so on, when edited with Photoshop or similar programs. For example, please take a look at this page - The logo for Izumi Tonbo Dama was made using the pattern which you can see in the center of the last row. Enjoy!
